Heveya interviewed our founder Valentina Cereda, on designing a healthy bedroom that goes beyond aesthetics, shaping how we feel, supportive of sleep and health.

Valentina’s work is guided by the belief that our environments directly influence our physical and emotional wellbeing. Her approach focuses on aligning spaces with nature’s frequencies through conscious material choices, thoughtful layouts and the removal of environmental stressors.

Valentina’s key recommendations for improving sleep through design include:

  • Choose natural and non-toxic materials wherever possible
  • Reduce technology and electromagnetic exposure near the bed
  • Position the bed for balance, stability and ease
  • Keep the bedroom visually calm and clutter-free
  • Treat the sleep space as a sanctuary, not a multifunctional room

For Valentina, better sleep begins with conscious choices. When a space is designed with intention, rest comes more naturally and wellbeing follows.
