Valentina was invited by Corenet Global to present a workshop on designing workplaces for physical, mental and spiritual health.

Just as we read food labels to avoid harmful ingredients, we should also pay attention to the ingredients in our office environments. Many building and interior materials contain invisible toxins that can affect our health, focus, and productivity every day.

The workshop introduced the fundamentals of Building Biology, a science-based approach to designing healthier workplaces and how to go beyond low-VOC paints, water-based products, and certification checklists to develop tailored wellness design strategies that align with the company ethics and office location.

The session covered how to identify hidden chemicals in common interior materials, minimize exposure to environmental toxins, including electromagnetic fields, and apply practical, integrative design solutions that enhance wellbeing in corporate environments.
